This project was executed in the eastern part of Amsterdam. The intention was to create a ‘wow’ effect upon entering the house, which led to the idea of the red ceiling. Moreover, the kitchen was to become a place for holding dinners with large groups of friends. Last but not least, the Studio Hermanides team was also briefed to provide a home for the clients’ large collection of books, antique objects and art.
